[01] Project Intro
PantryGenius set out to close the nightly gap between what’s in the kitchen and what’s for dinner, but the concept rested on data users have no patience to provide. Pantry inventories are tedious to maintain and inherently imprecise, yet the AI needed them to deliver anything worth opening the app for.

Key highlight
My work centered on three problems: making ingredient capture feel like seconds rather than bookkeeping, designing a suggestion experience that stayed trustworthy despite incomplete input, and unifying three competing modes — inventory, discovery, and personal cookbook — behind a single coherent front door.
I led end-to-end UX/UI design for PantryGenius, conducting user research, defining information architecture, and delivering a complete brand identity including logo, color scheme, typography, and design system.
